Standard 45 km/h CDI module for scooters with 10-inch rims

This 45 km/h CDI module limits your retro scooter to approximately 45 km/h. It is suitable for most Chinese scooters with a GY6 4-stroke engine and 10-inch wheels. This CDI module provides consistent speed limiting and optimal performance.

⚠️ Please note: Not suitable for Kymco, Sym, or Peugeot scooters.

Important to know

Since 2018, these scooters have been fitted with a Euro4 fuel-injected engine (EFI/ECU). This CDI is therefore only suitable for models made before 2018 with:

• Alternating current CDI

• Speed ​​sensor on the clutch flywheel

Possible causes if your scooter drives faster than 45 km/h

1. Retro scooter speedometers are often not calibrated and may differ by approximately 5 km/h.

2. Incorrect tire sizes fitted at the rear.

3. The speed-limiter wire from the pulse sensor is disconnected.

4. The variator restrictor ring or intake manifold restrictors have been removed.
